Built for iPhone · Made for two

A place for just two.

Garnet Thread is a private photo space where two people can keep photos, Live Photos, videos, voice moments, notes, and the small rituals that turn a camera roll into a shared life.

Garnet Thread welcome screen on iPhone

Product preview shown with sample content. Your real moments stay inside your place for two.

More than a shared album.

Garnet Thread keeps context around a moment: the note you wrote, the voice you recorded, the reaction it sparked, and the other photos that belong beside it.

  • Photos in motionStill photos, Live Photos, and videos share one private timeline.
  • Words worth keepingAdd notes, voice moments, and encrypted conversations around a photo.
  • Your own channelsKeep everyday moments in General and make smaller spaces for trips, rituals, or anything else.
  • A quiet reminderChoose a Home Screen widget that brings a recent shared moment back into view.

Private by architecture.

Photos, videos, previews, thumbnails, messages, and note bodies are encrypted on the iPhone before their protected bytes are stored. The service coordinates the place and delivery without receiving device private keys or plaintext media.

01

Two people pair directly

One person creates a short-lived invite. The other joins, and both arrive in the same private place.

02

The keys stay on-device

Each iPhone creates and keeps its private identity. The server stores only the information needed to coordinate encrypted sharing.

03

Leaving has a real path

Pause locally, leave the place, request closure together, export during the supported window, or permanently remove shared data.

Built around the relationship, not engagement.

There is no public profile to maintain and no audience to grow. The product is the private space itself: a shared wall of moments that only needs to matter to the two people inside it.

One place

Photos, notes, messages, memories, and rituals live together instead of being scattered across apps.

Two perspectives

Both people can add moments, react, build channels, and return to the same shared history.

No public performance

The experience is designed for keeping and revisiting, not follower counts, feeds, or discovery.
